World Friendship Day!

Today is world international Friendship Day !

Everybody have experience friendship at one point in time or another. Be it from Childhood, Relationships, Family Ties, work-place, etc.

But some questions still remain unanswered or we all just assume we know the answers….

Who is a Friend?

Why do we have Friends?

Where do we meet Friends?

This questions are worth thinking over again and again when you hear the word Friendship.
Are there answers to these questions? Yes ! Let’s answer them together.

💡 A friend is someone or a group of people who provides a sense of belonging, help reduce stress, contributes to personal growth and self development.

💡 We have friends because of emotional support, social connections and majorly human interaction.

💡 We meet Friends in any and every place.

Imagine you were all alone living in this world without any other person?  Certainly, That would be very lonely. This is therefore the need for other people to exist here and to befriend you.

Good Friends aid growth, they provides a sense of belonging, they reduces or increases stress as the case Maybe. They are lovely humans or pet you get comfortable with.
Good Friends are Easy to connect to. They share in your laughter, sadness and happiness.
Good Friends can be your physical or remote Colleagues, your subordinate or Boss. They come in different shapes, sizes and complexions.

I believe you have Meet Friends whom you appreciate their presence in your life. Do send them a text, card or some form of appreciation today as it is the international Friendship Day and it was founded to encourages individuals to strengthen their bonds, to promote peace and understanding, to provides a sense of belonging, to reduces stress, and finally to contributes to our personal development as humans.

The curator of this day Joyce Hall, founder of Hallmark Cards, introduced the concept of Friendship Day as a way to promote goodwill and camaraderie among people of different nations in the great 1930s when the world was phasing great change and innovation in the business sector, Technology industry and within humans interactions. It was in 2011 the United Nations General Assembly made the official general announcement “July 30th would officially become known as the International Day of Friendship”.

This international Friendship day is a powerful call to action for Everyone to come together and celebrate the ties that bind us.
